About Our Classes

Reformer pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that is easy on the joints and uses spring-loaded resistance to achieve maximum effect & fatigue of your muscles. Our method of Reformer Pilates is dynamic and will have your muscles trembling! We're not your standard pilates class - there won't be any slow, soul-searching happening here. We aim for you to get a full-body workout with each class, but rest assured our classes can be modified to suit your abilities and any injuries you may have.

Reformer Pilates Class

Our Regular Reformer Pilates Class is suitable for beginners & more advanced pilates-goers alike. We add layers to our exercises to ensure that you are challenged during the class if you need it. We can make exercises easier or harder by adjusting spring tension to suit you. If you have any injuries or ailments, we would love you to send us an email prior to attending (or advise the instructor at the start of the class), to ensure the class is suitable for you. 

Seniors Reformer Class

This is suitable for those over 65, or for anyone who may be rehabilitating/recovering from a more major injury or surgery. This class is a little more gentle than our regular reformer Pilates class, and is shorter in length being 40 minutes. 

We do ask that you for your own safety, that you have medical clearance prior to coming to this class. 

Pre/Post-Natal Reformer Class

This class is suitable for those in any stage of pregnancy, and those 6weeks postpartum or 12 weeks post c-section. If you are pregnant, you are welcome in to any of our regular reformer classes as well, as we are aware the time of our postnatal class may not suit everyone. 

We advise you to get medical clearance from a Women's Health Physiotherapist, Midwife or your GP prior to attending this class. We welcome women of all stages postpartum in this class, including those who are over 1 year postpartum. 

 

Babies are very welcome to this class in either a capsule or pram, and we are happy for you to feed throughout the class or stop to settle your baby as needed (we also LOVE a baby snuggle). If you have children older and would like to bring them along, please get in touch. Older children who can be entertained by an iPad etc. are welcome but crawling children may be tricky with the hazards around the studio space.
